Open Positions

We are seeking a dedicated and passionate Preschool Teacher to join our dynamic educational team. The ideal candidate will be committed to fostering child development and creating a nurturing, stimulating environment for young learners of all levels. This role involves working with preschool-aged children, guiding their growth through daily engaging and developmentally appropriate activities. Candidates with experience in private school settings, strong behavior management skills, curriculum implementation, and the ability to maintain a structured schedule are highly desirable.

Responsibilities:

  • Develop and implement age-appropriate lesson plans aligned with educational standards from the curriculum.
  • Create a safe, inclusive, and respectful classroom environment where all children feel valued.
  • Communicate effectively with children, parents, and staff to support student development and learning.
  • Monitor and assess children’s progress, providing timely feedback and tailored support throughout the school year.
  • Apply effective behavior management techniques to promote positive social interactions and emotional growth.
  • Organize activities that enhance physical, emotional, social, and cognitive development.
  • Collaborate with fellow assistant teachers and floaters/educators to enrich the educational experience.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and inviting classroom conducive to learning.

Qualifications:

  • Experience working with preschool-aged children is required.
  • Strong understanding of early childhood development.
  • Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
  • Familiarity with educational frameworks such as Frog Street, Press Curriculum and Conscious Discipline is a plus.
  • Proven ability to manage classroom behavior effectively while fostering a positive learning environment.
  • A background in teaching early childhood math concepts is advantageous.
  • A degree in Early Childhood Education, CDA, teaching or related field is required or the equivalent experience.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $20.00 – $23.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 per week
